listen to them talk
look at their art
read words
find stories
they’re all so good
so put together
so desired
and creative
and sharp
and even though
they’re meant
to be inspiring
what you do
is compare
one life to another
theirs so far
above this one
you have
and somehow you feel
diminished
overlooked
unworthy
like the world
could not hold space
for the both of you
like you will
never be known
for great
let their successes
stop you
this is how
you get lost

needs it
then do it
